“I am so appreciative that Kathy has guided me in training several dogs over the years, including a Border Collie/Cattle Dog, an Irish Setter and my current Gordon Setters. She gave me the skills to succeed with training my first puppy in decades. After taking him through preparation for AKC Canine Good Citizen, we have continued his education to include intro to Rally and service dog training. He is now a finished mobility support service dog who continues to expand his repertoire through training refresher classes and trick training. 

 

Most recently, Kathy has been helping me develop good citizenship skills with my 4-year-old rescue Gordon, a sweet dog who came to me with little obedience training. It’s been lovely watching him develop manners, patience and social skills. I especially love the way Kathy and her team meet dogs and owners where they are developmentally and temperamentally, helping us to build our relationships and determine training goals and styles.
